About the role

Initially, your starting role will be as an admissions representative working with prospective students. Interested candidates will be assigned to you via the online platform through out the day to be contact by you via telephone/WhatsApp or other methods provided to you. The online platform will assist you in communicating electronically with them and scheduling/organizing. The prospects/candidates are obtained 100% from the university’s web site after completing a contact request form and are distributed in real time. You will speak with many prospects candidates throughout the world and you will learn about their cultures, interests, goals and career plans. You will evaluate and qualify the candidate for admissions and then facilitate the registration/enrollment process. As you learn and grow over the first few months you role will grow as well to allow additional interactions with students at different stages of the program. If you would like to be an educational ambassador representing AIU and you meet the following characteristics this may be the career path for you. 


  • Call prospective students using established methods.
  • Counsel and advise prospects about AIU academic programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with enrolled students.
  • Meet weekly goals for volume of enrollments and various performance metrics within company guidelines.
  • Build a strong relationship with prospective and current students by having the ability to listen, identify their needs.
  • Obtain all relevant documents to pre qualify all applicants.
  • Presenting the various programs and services of our online university to prospective students by guiding them through a process of career choices, educational options, and enrollment procedures.
  • Respond to information requests about our online programs, qualify and enroll students, and complete the application process to ensure the student successfully meets their college education goals.
  • Utilize the Online Platform/Prospect Management System adding comments and changing status of each assigned prospect.

Candidate profile:

• 3 years Customer Service / or Sales / or Teaching / or Customer Facing Support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, however, relevant work experience can overcome a lack of degree.
• Able to work remotely and coordinate with personnel around the world.
• English Speaker 100% (like native speaker), English Writing 100%.
• Can achieve a high volume of outbound calls, conversations/day
• Team player and participates in ongoing training sessions.
